The Hurley is a submarine which is a boat  that can travel underwater. People hoped the Hurley could help end the blockade. To make it work, one man guided the ship and others turned the crank. The Hurley sank ed our mission, but we ended up sinking just like the others did.  Would the Charleston Harbor twice during trial runs. Both times,  all of the men inside died.  The Hurley had to be raised from the water. Soon, it was time for the Hurley to battle the blockade with a  bomb attached. , The submarine sneaked close to a Union ship.  We were really scared because so many men had already died trying to do this same mission.  We fired a bomb at the blockade ship and completed you ever be brave enough to fire on a ship?
